As an Associate Product Manager at Customer Lobby you will be joining an established development team, playing a significant role in facilitating change by providing analysis and support for new and existing products. This role works collaboratively with stakeholders across the business and related third parties to define and document functional and nonfunctional requirements aligned with business and  technology initiatives.You will be reporting to the VP of Product and Engineering and working closely with the Product Owners. 

Are a confident, proactive and motivated individual who enjoys working across the organization to understand stakeholder requirements and whom can communicate and prioritize these to the development teams within an Agile SCRUM environment. The role requires a collaborative approach within a development team of 10+ in size, predominantly working on our Spotlight platform and products.

Customer Lobby’s Spotlight platform provides local service businesses with the complete customer retention solution. Spotlight automatically identifies the customers that have potential revenue and facilitates communication with personalized postcards, emails, texts and review requests. The result? More time and more revenue for the businesses that use Spotlight.  


  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders including Product Owners, Architect, Developers, and QA Engineers to understand product vision and priorities 
  • Collect, analyze and document business and data requirements from all stakeholders 
  • Work with members of IT, operations and 3rd parties to define the most effective and efficient technical solutions to meet the business requirements
  • Complete market analysis when defining new features, keeping abreast of the latest technologies and UX trends 
  • Research and design solutions that fit within the defined technology and business criteria
  • Work with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure knowledge transfer of new features and benefits
  • Provide product knowledge in support of the SDLC including ‘walkthroughs’ with the Development, QA and Product Management teams
  • Break down work into manageable, well-understood and estimated user stories 

General Requirements:  

  • 2+ years of experience in Product Management within a Technology environment
  • Excellent analytical, communication and writing skills
  • Self-motivated and highly organized
  • Experience writing Functional & Technical specifications
  • Strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum processes, artifacts, roles, methods
  • A solid working knowledge of web applications and technologies
  • Diligent and meticulous – passionate about detail and data
  • Experience managing multiple projects and business users
  • Able to work in demanding user and software development environments
  • Experience using Jira, Aha and Confluence
  • Experience working with offshore development teams is desired
