Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Create & implement inbound sales strategy best practices and continually strive to improve the effectiveness of inbound sales including but not limited to add-on software and services and client software renewal agreements.
  • Communicate and educate the team through weekly meetings/trainings and monthly recap sessions designed to ensure cohesion amongst the team.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Produce weekly and monthly reporting metrics to evaluate progress and identify challenges to devise solutions for success.
  • Research accounts and identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain all sales activities in Salesforce CRM
  • Work collaboratively with channel partners to share added-value solutions to clients
  • Perform effective webinars to share solutions and follow-up online demos to clients
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas

Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in a high-velocity inbound sales environment within the HealthIT industry.  
  • In depth understanding of medical practice needs and workflows including Electronic Health Record, Practice Management and Revenue Cycle Management.  
  • Strong knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com
  • Knowledgeable of webinar solutions like GotoMeeting, Webex, Join.Me, etc.
  • Track record of consistently meeting and exceeding quota attainment. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to roll up your sleeves as this is a hands-on position, as well as a strategic one.
  • Have the desire to create and try new strategies driving ideas from concept to execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work inter-departmentally.
  • Degree preferred
  • Relative work experience in HealthIT sales including EHR, Practice Management and/or RCM a plus.
